It all began in 2007 after many local folk took part in the community musical "Foresight" and didn't want the singing to stop! We set up a welcoming, all-comers, non-auditioned, all ages choir so we could just sing together and enjoy each others company!
About sixty people came to sing at the first rehearsal and the benefits we've enjoyed over the 15 years have grown: making new friends, the huge buzz of singing and laughing together, physical and mental wellbeing, the excitement of performing together.
VoiceWorx is about singing together, making friends and having fun. We sing songs in a wide range of styles, so there's always something that will appeal. Come along and see how much we enjoy ourselves - you can be part of that too!
